More Flexible than Jello!

Monday, June 11, 2012 by Angela Hosner 3 Comments

We are sitting here in the mission house finishing up our preparations for VBS and feeling so blessed to be here in this beautiful country.  We have our crayons, stickers, paper, markers, balls, and balloons ready to go. Even with all of this preparation, we know that God is in control.  As we shared in our devotion tonight, we rest in all that He has planned for us and we are choosing to be flexible every step of the way!

Today was a great start to the week as we worshipped at Union Church in Guatemala City.  After church, we went shopping at the local market in Antigua and then had dinner together at an amazing restaurant.  We thank God for blessing us with such a wonderful day.

The children and students are doing great and are being very flexible.  Pray that we will be God-centered and others-focused in all that we think, say and do.

Please pray for us tomorrow as we will be installing three stoves in three houses and sharing the gospel with the families as we work.  Pray also for us as we lead the VBS in the afternoon.  Pray for us to be bold and kind and to spread God’s fame as we share the love of Jesus!

About Angela Hosner

Angela is blessed to be a wife to Kevin for 19 years and a mother to three amazing boys; Caleb, Joshua and Alex. A self-proclaimed frustrated perfectionist and sometimes procrastinator, this transplanted mid-westerner can be heard uttering, "I'll think about that tomorrow" quite regularly.
