I just read that after following that link in your post. Very nice.
I just finished “The Da Vinci Code.” It’s Gnostic influence is overwhelming. I am amazed at how a lack of understanding church history leads to a modern feeling that this ancient heresy is “new.” The church roundly refuted such claims years ago and it is easy to do so now. Gnosticism does not adequately give answers to life’s most basic questions. Mr. Brown conveniently ignores the fact that Gnosticism does its own fair job of demonizing women.
