We live in a time when certainty is considered bad form. The only thing you should be certain about is that you can’t be certain about anything. And you certainly shouldn’t suggest that someone claiming to be a Christian is not one. But is that true? The Apostle John would say ‘no.’ And today we’ll look at some tests he gives us that we can use to gauge when someone is outside the boundaries of the faith.
