GraceTALK, September 2021

Sunday, September 19, 2021 by Tim Bell, Dan Miller, Ken Rutherford and Zach Watson Leave a Comment

We value asking questions to better understand how to live life in a God-centered, Christ-exalting way. We believe that church should be the best place in which people can get solid answers to life’s questions from God’s Word.

  1. When witnessing to falsely converted friends and family, what is the loving way to deal with the conclusion that loved ones’ souls are suffering in hell?
  2. Seeing as human nature hasn’t changed since the fall of man and human nature is currently in complete opposition to God (Romans 8:7), how did people in the Old Testament come to salvation?
  3. If someone needs a new heart to be saved (Ezekiel 36:25-27) and the mark of a genuine believer is a new lifestyle, which would come from the Spirit, does the Spirit still regenerate in the Old Testament? If so, did Old Testament believers lose their regeneration if the Spirit was taken away like Saul? … Also, is the Ezekiel passage only referring to the future New Covenant or did it apply to the time in which it was written as well?
