In the same way that hot days drive us to cool water, our experiences in life move us to need Christ. In this way, I find myself thirsty for Christ and His refreshing truth. I find it startling that the God of the universe never charges, nor does He run empty but always freely gives to thirsty people.
The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.
Revelation 22:17 (ESV)
Drink deeply of these truths and be refreshed today.
God will nurture you while you travel through difficult circumstances

… let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works. Hebrews 10:22–24
God is developing your resiliency in various difficulties in life… a purpose beyond the moment.
… for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:3–4

God is moving you from putting your hope in yourself to trusting in Him.
… the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 8 Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, 9 obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:7–9
