GraceTALK, January 2021

Sunday, January 10, 2021 by Pat Dirrim, Marty Kronz, Drew Pearce and Ken Rutherford Leave a Comment

We value asking questions to better understand how to live life in a God-centered, Christ-exalting way. We believe that church should be the best place in which people can get solid answers to life’s questions from God’s Word.

  1. I have a friend who tells me that the key to following the Lord is faith. He told me that God cannot move until we first have faith – it is the key that unlocks the door. He told me that Mark 10:51-52 is an example of this principle. I know this is not right, but what does Jesus mean and how should I explain the meaning to him without offending him?
  2. Are people like King Saul in the Old Testament an example of a “carnal christian” or an example of someone who is revealed to be non-believer? How can I know for sure that I am saved?
  3. In I Peter 3:7, it indicates that if husbands do not treat their wives well that their prayers may be “hindered.” What exactly does this mean?
