A relationship with Jesus begins when a person moves from trusting in themselves to trusting Him alone as Savior and Lord. While this initial trust happens at a point in time, this trust in and for Jesus will deepen over time so that a person will mature in the faith. It could be said that a Christian is destined to move from simple belief to faithful living. The study we begin today will showcase this transformation in the life of a man named, Timothy.
