We value asking questions to better understand how to live life in a God-centered, Christ-exalting way. We believe that church should be the best place in which people can get solid answers to life’s questions from God’s Word.
- How can I know who is a good preacher to listen to? There are so many preachers who seem to be good (or at least good communicators), but I can’t really tell who the solid ones are from the slick ones. Thank you for your help.
- In 1 Corinthians 5:11-13, it seems to say to not eat with any Christian who is living in sin. How are we to know, and wouldn’t this damage the possibility of a person coming back to the Lord?
- Pastor Dan mentioned the other week that Abraham followed the original intent of the Lord in creation in being married to one woman, Sarah. However, Moses, David, and other leaders in the Old Testament have multiple wives and didn’t get rebuked for that by the Lord. Polygamy almost seems condoned in the Old Testament.
- Bonus: What is the Church’s view on Masonry, Shriners, or similar organizations?
