Good Things about Bad Times, Part 6

Sunday, May 24, 2020 by Dan Miller 1 Comment

Rain can be seen as a blessing or a curse depending on who is experiencing it and when. Imagine there is a farmer praying for rain because he wants his crops to grow. However, down in the valley, there is another farmer praying for no more rain because the village in which he lives is directly in the path of a dam that is filled to the brim with water and could break at any moment! We often see life only through the lens of what is best for us. Today, we will see a better way and, in return, understand more good things about bad times.

Scripture References: Matthew 11:2-6, Isaiah 35:5-6, Isaiah 61:1, John 11:1-44, John 9
