No Christian should live with his or her fingers crossed when it comes to the resurrection. As a matter of fact, the issue of Jesus’ resurrection from the dead is THE issue on which Christianity stands or falls. Said another way, if the resurrection didn’t happen then we have no hope either in our lives now or in the life to come. The Christian faith is not a hope-so hope but a know-so hope. In a time in which hope seems to be in short supply and fear is at an all-time high, you need to know that your hope has already been realized in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
