Next week we will begin a church-wide video-based study: “Seeing and Savoring Jesus Christ” via RightNow Media.
Our desire in going through this study is to help each of us to remain focused on Jesus and the fact that we are his disciples and need to continue living as such. What a time such as this to help one another keep this focus and grow closer to Christ and exalt Him together!
In 2 Corinthians, the apostle Paul described one of the central problems facing humanity in every age: people fail to see Christ for who he is. Even those who have caught a glimpse of him do not see perfectly, says best-selling author John Piper. But it is important that we not only learn to see him but delight in him and the truth of the gospel.
