Every person has offended God and, therefore, is due his or her wages for this work … death. Every person sans one. Christ was without sin. He did not earn death. He was due honor, praise and a throne; yet he received chastisement, wrath and a tomb. Wrong, on top of wrong, on top of wrong … that everything may be made right.
