Temptations are a normal part of everyone’s life. In them, we are enticed to believe lies drawing us away from God. These lies tempt us through our physical needs, our desires for pleasure, and our desire to elevate ourselves above others. We must always be on guard and fight against these temptations through reclaiming our identity, reordering our desires, and reframing our future. In this last talk of the weekend, the big idea is that Christians can stand firm as they begin to reclaim their identity, reshape their desires, and reframe their future.
