We value asking questions to better understand how to live life in a God-centered, Christ-exalting way. We believe that church should be the best place in which people can get solid answers to life’s questions.
Q1 (2:39). Did God create Satan? I know he was an angel before he fell, but then when did God create all the angels? Was it before the creation of the world given that Satan had already fallen by the time he was in the Garden as a serpent?
Q2 (12:26). I have heard that God extends his gift of salvation to everyone. However, I have also heard that God has a group of chosen people: those whom he is going to save. How does God extend his gift to everyone and yet only to a select few (because you must accept the gift to be saved)? Does God refuse to let those whom he has not chosen enter His kingdom?
Q3 (29:30). Does the Prince of the World hear our spoken prayers? If so, is it reasonable to believe he will act in accordance to deny such heartfelt requests?
Q4 (42:30). I have recently been haunted by Hebrews 13:5: “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have…” Are there any practical guidelines for me to recognize when I am making money an idol? In other words, when do I know I have crossed the line from earning money to live and loving money in life?
