It is now Thursday of Passion Week. It was on this day that Jesus tasked His disciples to obtain a room so that they could observe the Passover Meal together. In obedience to God, they ate that meal which pointed back to God’s most significant act of deliverance in the Old Testament-the deliverance of the nation of Israel from under the mighty hand of Pharaoh. What the disciples didn’t know is that while they were eating their recently slain lamb in this meal, THE Lamb of God was mere hours away from His ultimate sacrifice! One more day until the death of Jesus.
