Jesus entered Jerusalem on Palm Sunday to victorious cheers of the people. But, this was no ordinary Sunday. This was the last Sunday of His life in His pre-glorified state. This was the beginning of Passion Week. Jesus was five short days away from drinking from the Father’s cup of wrath as the culmination of the eternal covenant of redemption between the Father and the Son.
