Mark has been presenting Jesus as the rightful King, long exiled, now returning to reclaim territory lost in the Fall. Although Jesus had clearly displayed Himself as the rightful King (through healings, giving life, and displaying power over the creation), the people failed to see His identity with some seeing Jesus as a new prophet and others wanting to make him King by force (John 6:14-15). Jesus wanted the disciples to not make this mistake so He bringing about an event that will change the way they saw Jesus forever.

Pastor Dan,
Would you please consider listing the Scripture verses you cover in each sermon along with the Title of the sermon. Here’s why: I teach a weekly bible study and frequently recall one of your sermons that had one or more “nuggets in them. Then I hit “the wall” of trying to recall which Sermon in a series contains the nugget or nuggets I want to use, always with proper attribution from your sermon.
In my opinion, there probably are a few others who would find having the bible verses covered in each sermon along with the title helpful

Reg, thanks for the input. Our team will look into better ways of making the Scripture citations more accessible. Question: Are you referring to the main passage we are studying or the related passages I may cite as well or both?
