The book of Mark is a fast-paced journey through the life of Jesus running on the rails of the theme that Jesus was bringing the Kingdom of God and that is “good news.” In other words, the Kingdom of God would now be breaking into the world (1:15). Today we continue to see Jesus as a King who cares deeply for His people and this is proven by what He provides.
