In session 2 of our student retreat, we focused on how the Bible defines control as God being continually involved with all created things in such a way that he keeps them existing, cooperates with them in every action, and directs them to fulfill all His purposes. Knowing that our identity, if a Christian, is a child of this amazing and powerful God should encourage us to live without fear. Therefore, we can confidently go into the world as Jesus, who is for us (Rom 8:31), prayed and not become of the world.
