Have you ever considered Jesus to be a revolutionary? A revolution is a forcible overthrow of a government or social order in favor of a new system. As we saw in the beginning of Mark 5 last week, Jesus is continuing to reveal the kingdom of God by demonstrating His power over the spiritual forces of evil personified by demons. But this story has a deeper meaning—one that speaks to our deliverance as well.
