One of the most reassuring truths of the Bible is that no matter how egregious your sin, you can still find forgiveness from God through the sacrifice of Christ. But is this really true? Is there an unpardonable sin? In today’s passage, Jesus seems to contradict the commonly held view that God will forgive any sin, no matter how bad that sin is. What does Jesus mean when he says, “… whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven”?

Pastor Ken has been teaching the Bible in some capacity since 1979. Ken serves as a teacher in our Sunday morning adult Connections and is lead-pastor for our Sunday service vocalists as well as the pastor overseeing foreign missions. Ken has been married to Carla since 1983 and has one daughter, Amanda, and two sons, Taylor and Kyle. Ken and Carla have lived in the Atlanta area since 1984.
