We value asking questions to better understand how to live life in a God-centered, Christ-exalting way. Let’s face it, life is tough and trying to find your way on your own just makes things more difficult. But where can you go to find biblical answers to life issues? We believe that church should be THAT place. So, we have a “GraceTALK” every quarter in which some of our pastors answers questions that you have submitted.
Q1 (1:19). How do I share the Gospel with a family member who I have had a terrible testimony in front of? I know I am not perfect, but I have REALLY not been perfect in front of them and yet they need to know Christ so bad.
Q2 (14:40). My child has repented of sin and trusted in Jesus as Savior and yet at a past Lord’s Supper it seemed that my child also needed to be baptized prior to participating. At first glance it seemed as if trusting in Christ was not enough to participate. However, when I asked my friend about this I was told that there was more to the story and a reason behind this rationale. Please enlighten me.
Q3 (30:39). I have been at Grace Fellowship for a little over two years and have enjoyed the “Elder-led” model. I have a friend who attends a “senior pastor only” type of church and she asked me about the difference between the two. Unfortunately, I was not as informed as I would have liked. Can you sketch the distinctives as well as benefits?
