We value asking questions to better understand how to live life in a God-centered, Christ-exalting way. Let’s face it, life is tough and trying to find your way on your own just makes things more difficult. But where can you go to find biblical answers to life issues? We believe that church should be THAT place. So, we have a “GraceTALK” every quarter in which some of our pastors answers questions that you have submitted.
(1:46) Q1. If I’m in debt (not intentionally long-term debt like a mortgage, but high-interest loans or credit cards), should I still give to the church or wait to give until my family is no longer being actively harmed by the debt?
(17:59) Q2. I was talking with a friend about the emphasis from the messages from Hebrews and how we are completely forgiven for our sins – past, present, and future. She then said to me, “If that is true, wouldn’t that encourage people to go and sin?” I know the answer is “No” but I am not sure how exactly how to say that and why.
(35:16) Q3. In Mark 9:1, Jesus tells the disciples that “some standing here” (disciples) “would not taste death until they see the Kingdom of God.” This seems to indicate the Kingdom should have come at that time and yet the Bible clearly expresses that it is yet to occur. Puzzling.
