Are you interested in serving in the Music Ministry? It is a great way to get involved at Grace Fellowship. While we aren’t in the practice of holding regular tryouts we do hold them as interest is expressed.

How It Works

Our tryout process looks like this:

• Contact Kevin Schultz via email to let him know your particular interest in the Music Ministry — vocals or an instrument.
• A time will be set up for you to meet to discuss your particular interest in the Music Ministry, your musical background, and the expectations of involvement before the tryout is scheduled.
• The tryout will be scheduled with Kevin Schultz and Shane Jackson on a Thursday evening at 6:30 pm before regular worship band rehearsal.
• For vocalists, the tryout consists of the vocalist singing two songs prepared from our regular Sunday morning rotation, one up-tempo song and one slow song, as well as learning a basic harmony part at the tryout, all accompanied by an acoustic guitar.
• For instrumentalists, the tryout consists of the instrumentalist playing two songs prepared from our regular Sunday morning rotation, one up-tempo song and one slow song, as well as learning parts of another song at the tryout, all accompanied by acoustic or electric guitar.
• After the tryout, Kevin Schultz will contact you regarding the opportunities for you to serve in the Music Ministry.
