We value asking questions to better understand how to live life in a God-centered, Christ-exalting way. Let’s face it, life is tough and trying to find your way on your own just makes things more difficult. But where can you go to find biblical answers to life issues? We believe that church should be THAT place. So, we have a “GraceTALK” every quarter in which some of our pastors answers questions that you have submitted.

(2:09) Q1. Given Pastor Dan has mentioned we are forgiven for sins past, present, and future,how do I confess my sins today or do I even confess my sins? Would it be wrong to ask God to forgive me when I sin in a particular area of my life?

(17:05) Q2. In 1 Corinthians 15:29, Paul mentions and seems to even endorse people being“baptized on behalf of the dead.” What in the world does that mean?

(26:27) Q3. Leviticus 4:2 speaks of and provides a way to receive God’s forgiveness for “unintentional sins.” As I read through Leviticus, I found no reference to intentional sins within the sacrificial system. Therefore, I have three questions: 1. How did people in the O.T. deal with intentional sins? 2. How do you distinguish between unintentional and intentional sins? 3. How does that relate to us today?

(38:15) Q4. I work for a company that is moving strongly toward financially giving/supporting organizations that are supporting same-sex marriage as well as a host of other issues I find reprehensible. In one sense, I realize that this is just life in an unredeemed world. However, on the other hand, I am concerned I am supporting these anti-Christ efforts given I am working for this company. How do I live“in the world” and yet not be “of the world” when my very occupation is involved in promoting anti-God goals?
