We value asking questions to better understand how to live life in a God-centered, Christ-exalting way. Let’s face it, life is tough and trying to find your way on your own just makes things more difficult. But where can you go to find biblical answers to life issues? We believe that church should be THAT place. So, we have a “GraceTALK” every quarter in which some of our pastors answers questions that you have submitted.
(1:20) Q1. In light of Matthew 5:33-37, is taking an oath or making a pledge a sin? For example, is it wrong to say the Pledge of Allegiance or take an oath when becoming a soldier, police officer, or even the President?
(7:41) Q2. Are women required to wear headcoverings in church? I don’t see any Scriptural reasons to abandon this practice (such as cultural relevance, hair being the covering, etc.). Paul was inspired when he wrote 1 Corinthians 11, so are we guilty of excusing it away?
(25:12) Q3. Do children have the cognitive ability to repent and have a conversion experience? And if so, what age do we consider this possible?
Submit a future GraceTALK question.
