We have examined how toxic legalism is with its “ladder” theology – trying to work your way to God by being good enough to merit forgiveness. We have considered how lawlessness is rooted in a misunderstanding of the purposes of God’s Law. Today we will consider how “walking by faith” is the antidote to falling off either side of legalism or lawlessness.
