The Bible is the most popular piece of literature ever written. It has been translated into over 2,800 languages and thousands have put their lives on the line so that the Bible could be passed down across the world and through history. There is an average of 4 Bibles per household in America today. Does any of this make you wonder if the most handled book in history is even close to containing the same words it did over 2,000 years ago? Do you ever see articles like this in Newsweek and feel a little off-balance?
We, as Christians, are facing new challenges to the validity of the Scriptures–challenges our grandparents did not have to face. Are you ready to answer why you believe the Bible is accurate? Are you ready to answer why you think the Bible you hold today is the Bible that the early church used to spread the good news of the Gospel? Can you trust what is written in the New Testament?
If you don’t have the answer to these questions (or even if you do!) join us this Sunday, January 25th, as textual scholar James White of Alpha and Omega Ministries joins us and gives us easy-to-understand answers to these tough questions.
