How Your Child Can Participate in Christmas is for Giving

Tuesday, December 9, 2014 by Eric Groover Leave a Comment

Christmas Is For Giving
Parents, this Christmas season the Legacy Children’s Ministry is excited to praise and adore God who gave his Son, and to exalt Jesus, who gave his life so that we might be saved. One way we want to do this is by partnering with Christmas is for Giving, our annual Christmas donation drive. As a part of the fabric of our church life, children can be a part of Christmas is for Giving.

Model The Walk

This is an excellent time for our church and our parents to model the walk of Christ to our children. We encourage you to use this opportunity to teach them about God giving his son to those in need of a Savior as you, as a family, pick items to donate to those in need in our community.

As a reminder, here is the list of items we are collecting to give to two local ministries; No Longer Bound and Abba House:

Canned Goods
Pasta
Peanut Butter
Spaghetti Sauce
Mac ‘n Cheese
Rice
Beans

Oatmeal
Diapers
Baby Wipes
Toilet Paper
Paper Towels
Laundry Detergent
Disinfecting Wipes

Thank you so much for the privilege of partnering with you in imparting a Godly legacy to our children!

Merry Christmas,

Pastor Eric
