Have you ever failed at something — a sporting game or a test in school? Have you ever failed in a relationship — an unmet expectation that put strain on the relationship, or maybe unfaithfulness that resulted in emotional scarring that changed the relationship forever? I am confident that you would agree that there is a vast difference between failing in a game or test and a failing in a relationship. While both are difficult, they are worlds apart when it comes to outcome. Failing at an activity can haunt our memory, but failing in a relationship can shape our future. Today we will consider how Jesus faced and dealt with relationship failure in part 2 of the teaching: “Pursuit.”

Pastor Dan was part of the core group that started Grace Fellowship in 2003. Pastor Dan is our primary teaching pastor, leads the staff, and oversees the vision and strategy for our disciplemaking philosophy of ministry. Dan married Vicki in 1993.
