We often consider the teaching of resurrection only within the realm of being an expression of Jesus power over the grave or the defeating of death. But have you ever considered that the resurrection of Jesus is also the greatest expression of the faithfulness of Jesus? As taught last week, Jesus promised to rise from the grave some thirteen times over the course of His ministry. Therefore, for Jesus to not rise from the dead would be a definitive expression of unfaithfulness and would render all of Jesus’ teaching as untrustworthy. However, since Jesus did rise from the grave, the resurrection of Jesus stands as an enduring reminder that our God is faithful. Today, we will consider the faithfulness of Jesus in His resurrection and what that means for you and your life.
