God Sustains in Good Times and Bad Times

Saturday, May 17, 2014 by Pat Dirrim Leave a Comment

116Life_Instagram_Deborah-Davis_v1.133311.400x400x0Over at Reach Records they regularly post a blog about someone well-known or not so well-known who lives a ‘116 life’.  A 116 life is a life lived that is not ashamed of the Gospel and is taken from Rom 1:16.  This blog’s profile is about a regular high school girl named Deborah Davis who has been utterly debilitated from Lyme’s disease.  In her battle to fight for joy she says this,

“I think the most difficult decision has been to claim the grace The Lord daily gives me as my own and to believe that it is truly sufficient for me. It is also very difficult to keep my emotions about my circumstances from clouding how I view God. Something I learned a few months ago is that I can’t let my view of God be shaped by how I see my circumstances. I have to put my trust in who He really says He is.”
