Saturday of Holy Week was a day of silence. Apart from the Chief Priests and the Pharisees asking Pilate for permission to post guards at the tomb (Matt 27:62-66), nothing else is recorded. There was nothing for the disciples to do except to go home now and wonder if they’d wasted the last few years of their lives…to wonder when the Pharisees and the Romans would be coming after them. Their leader, the one whom they thought would save them all, the one whom they had said and thought was the Messiah, was now gone. There was no hope, at least for the next 24 hours…

Pastor Pat joined the Leadership Team in 2008 after having attended Grace Fellowship with his family since its inception in 2003. He and his family served as missionaries in Guatemala from 2011 through 2013 and since then Pat has served as the Pastor for Students and Families at Grace Fellowship. Pat and Barb have seven children ranging in age from college graduates to high school age. He is currently pursuing his Masters of Biblical Studies from RTS and enjoys doing CrossFit with family and friends in his home gym. They have lived in the Atlanta area since 1997.
