Obviously, we are all called to live and pray for lives of purity all the time…not just in March, 2014.  However, what is unique about this coming month is that many Christian brothers and sisters from around the world are joining together to deliberately do just that and to consider what God’s Word says about purity, sexuality, and God.

Last week I asked all you to join me in this endeavor as we seek to take our holiness more seriously in our sexually charged culture.  If you are inclined to join us, simply begin by going to the blog of Tim Challies each day beginning on March 1 where he, along with other contributors, will be posting a short section of Scripture, an explanation of the Scripture, and then a prayer.

At Grace Fellowship, we thought this might be even more effective if we created our own GoogleGroup whereby we could share with each other victories, struggles, concerns, and prayer requests in our battles against baseness and the flesh.  If you would like to join that group, simply email Pastor Pat and he will get you in.

Consider these words from the apostle Peter as we prepare to begin this journey together, “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time He may exalt you, casting all of your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Pet 5:6-7)!”

Even if you are reading this after March 1, it’s not too late to join.  Fight the fight of faith with us and join us!
