The Book of John was written for a specific reason (John 20:30-31) and for a special occasion. At the time when John wrote his gospel (latter half of the First Century), there were likely many nagging questions regarding the Jews and their rejection of the Messiah. Why have the Jews rejected their Messiah? Has God’s plan failed? Is there something about the Jews that has caused God to repudiate His love for them? Why does it seem that Christianity has become identified more with Gentiles than with Jews?

Pastor Ken has been teaching the Bible in some capacity since 1979. Ken serves as a teacher in our Sunday morning adult Connections and is lead-pastor for our Sunday service vocalists as well as the pastor overseeing foreign missions. Ken is currently employed as the Vice President of Branding & IT at the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce. Ken has been married to Carla since 1983 and has one daughter, Amanda, and two sons, Taylor and Kyle. Ken and Carla have lived in the Atlanta area since 1984.
