Day 2: Church and Prep Time

On Sunday, we accompanied the Dirrim family to church at Union Church of Guatemala, an english-speaking church in Guatemala City. Afterwards we had lunch at the mission house and the team worked on preparations for the next day’s mission work. The work included unpacking our equipment, painting sketch boards, organizing the VBS materials, etc.

Later in the afternoon, we all loaded up to go for a quick shopping trip to Antigua and a dinner together at Monoloco (Crazy Monkey) of “Nachos the size of your head” (according to Pat).

Upon our return, we worked on practicing our dramas in preparation to do two presentations at the public school in San Mateo on Monday.
