Dear Grace Fellowship Family:
We wanted to update you on the latest information on the proposed new buildings. As most of you know, we are in preparations for breaking ground on the land we purchased on Ronald Reagan.
As we approach that time, we want to continue to give regular updates. In addition, we encourage you to come and pray each week prior to the service at 8:30 in room 11.
Our application for a CUP (Conditional Use Permit) has been reviewed and accepted as complete by Forsyth County. We are scheduled to attend a Preliminary Zoning Review meeting with county staff today to discuss our proposed building project and the application process. At that meeting we will receive a public participation sign that will be posted prominently on our property and marks the beginning of our application process. This process includes holding a required public participation meeting and working with any interested parties who may be relevant to our proposed project. Once we complete this period of public participation we will be able to finalize our application and submit it for board consideration.
In addition, we have submitted a Request for Proposal to three contractors to begin the process of determining cost and schedule estimates and selecting a contractor to construct the proposed project.
Throughout this process, we want to honor the Lord and see His fame spread. As we move forward in this process, continue to pray for several things:
First, that we will continue to have unity, clarity, wisdom, and peace as we seek to honor the Lord throughout this process.
Second, that regardless of circumstances or outcomes, we will declare our trust that God is in control, and that things will work out as they should in His perfect will.
Third, that the application process will go smoothly so that we may advance quickly to submitting our application for board consideration.
Fourth, that we will be wise in working with the contractors bidding on the building project and evaluating and selecting one.
Fifth, that we will seek to honor Him in this and in all things.
Please continue to pray that our gracious God guides us through this process and that we are faithful to do His will and depend on Him in this effort for His glory.
As always, please feel free to contact us or to ask any questions that you may have. Have a blessed week.
