People sometimes say strange things. Whether it be intentional or unintentional, we have all said things we really didn’t mean. Could that explain why Jesus said some things that seemed strange? Statements like when he said He was the “bread of life” or that everyone had to be being “born again” or “without the Son you don’t have life?” Did Jesus really mean this stuff? Today we will consider another statement that may just top them all. When Jesus said, “I am the light of the world, he who follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life” it must have seemed strange. As we will see in today’s teaching, Jesus could not have been more serious.
