“When the magnetic field becomes stressed, like a tightly coiled elastic band, the field pops through the solar surface, producing coronal loops and sunspots. Active regions also become sites of potential explosive events such as coronal mass ejections and flare.”

The stressing and popping of the sun is a reminder that hope is on the way! All of creation (sun included) groans waiting for freedom from the curse that will occur when Jesus returns! When we obtain God-given glory the Sun will never produce coronal loops again. God has written this reminder of your coming hope thousands if not millions of years before we could even see the sun and detect this explosive events! So the next time you feel like you are suffocating due to the effects of sin in this world look to the sun and be reminded of your coming hope in King Jesus! Do not despair in your situation oh’ Christian, look to the sun and know your hope is secure in the Son who will come again!
