The Leadership Team answers your questions.
Q1 (1:42). If in the beginning God made the world “perfect” before Adam and Eve committed any sin, then when was hell created? Was it right after they sinned? If not, then when does it say it was created in the Bible?
Q2 (11:14). Where is the line for opposing the government with civil disobedience if we believe the government has gone too far in its limitations of our freedom? Do we oppose anything or just when the Gospel message is on the line? Other examples I am thinking of would be items such as gun control, confiscation of property, anything applicable from the Constitution.
Q3 (28:00). I struggle to find the balance in the idea (taught in the John series) that the Father must draw a person in order for that person to have spiritual life and yet we see Jesus regularly telling people to believe and follow Him. If people only respond when the Father “draws” them then doesn’t the life of Christ seem to dismiss His own teaching since He invites everyone?
Q4 (38:15). What is the best evidence that God and not evolution created the world? I have friends in school that I usually don’t have a lot of time to talk with and just need the best answer for a short period of time.
