We praise the Lord for His kindness!

Saturday, December 15, 2012 by Kevin Hosner Leave a Comment

Dear Grace Fellowship Family:

We wanted to give you a quick update on the meeting with the Forsyth County Water Department. We received word that the County Water department has agreed to let Grace Fellowship tap in to the 36 inch water main that runs in front of our new property on Ronald Reagan. Praise the Lord!

We don’t have all the details yet but this is exciting news! This represents a HUGE savings to the church for our new building project. Also, this week, we received some updated drawings/plans from the architects. The staff met with them to discuss ministry needs, room layouts, etc. for the new building. We are continuing to work on a building plan and budget that will meet our needs for today and give us extra space as it is needed.

The updated drawings/plans will be available to review immediately after church tomorrow in the new church office located in the right side of the1375 building (the old skate park building). Over the next month, we will schedule additional times to review the plans as they develop, ask questions, and give feedback. Above all, we want to honor Christ and seek His will throughout the process.

Now that the water issue is resolved (Praise God for His kindness!), we are hopeful that the architects will have a proposal ready for bidding within the next 2-3 months (or sooner).

In the meantime, several of you have asked about giving to the Build the Church campaign before the end of the year. If you want to give a gift towards the new building before the end of the year, please mark your checks “Build the Church”. If you want to donate stock, please email or call us and we will give you the instructions for donating stock.

Please continue to pray that our gracious God guides us through this process and that we are faithful to do His will and depend on Him in this effort for His glory.

As always, please feel free to contact us or to ask any questions that you may have. We’ll see you tomorrow!
