The miracle of Jesus’ feeding should have been sufficient to inspire worship of Jesus, but Jesus mysteriously walks away. Why? The crowd wanted to make Jesus King and given it was the time of remembering Israel being set free from the tyranny of Egypt, this was the perfect time to rally all Jewish people around a new messiah! So why did Jesus refuse to be made King? Does Jesus fear the Roman Empire? After all Herod just killed John the Baptist. Does Jesus need time to plan? Is Jesus questioning His ability to lead the people, like Moses struggled with? No. Today, we will piece together the details surrounding the story and find embedded within it a lesson we all need to hear.

Pastor Dan is our primary teaching pastor, leads the staff, and oversees the vision and strategy for our disciplemaking philosophy of ministry. Dan married Vicki in 1993.
