The Leadership Team answers your questions.
Q1 (2:15). Is Satan still allowed to approach God’s throne like in the book of Job, or did that cease after the cross? Has Satan’s head already been crushed according to the prophecy in Genesis 3:15, or is that still to come?
Q2 (16:15). Can you explain why GF doesn’t get more involved in social issues like education, social reform, and politics? I know the church has been vocal regarding sanctity of life issues, but why not these other societal issues as well? BTW. I am not necessarily advocating this, just wanting to know where and why GF draws certain lines.
Q3 (27:33). You quickly commented in today’s sermon about freewill. What I understood you to say was that Adam and Eve had a freewill but that after they sinned things were corrupted and freewill was no more. Can you expound on that?
Q4 (35:57). Since God is sovereign, why can he not achieve His wants (ultimate good) without evil? Everything is created by Him, even logic and the fundamental ways in which all things work or have to be, so can’t He “write the rulebook” so that evil is not required?
