*78% of American adults identify with some form of Christian religion. 9 in 10 Americans say they believe in God, and 8 in 10 say that religion is “a very or fairly important part of their lives.” Do you question these statistics? Maybe the better question that should be asked is, “Does God or Jesus believe in you?”
If that question sounds strange to you then consider that Jesus didn’t always believe that the people who followed Him had a believable faith. As a matter of fact, although they would have called themselves “believers” (today, “Christians”); there are times when Jesus refused to affirm people as true believers.
Today you will see how certain people deceived themselves and how you can avoid falling prey to this same self-deception.
