We received this email from Erin Harris at Abba House about this year’s upcoming Run For Recovery. It’s a great way to help those in need and be a part of the community.

At Abba House, we greatly appreciate all the hard work and service that Grace Fellowship has extended to the women and children here. The service project in the fall was such a huge blessing.

I wanted to let you know we are getting ready for the 2012 Abba House Run for Recovery. We would love to have your church participate this year. The race is at Vickery Village and Big Creek Greenway again. The Run for Recovery is held to benefit the ministry to women and children at Abba House.

The 2012 Run for Recovery will be on Saturday, May 12, and will be a 5K and 10K, followed by an Awards Ceremony held at Vickery Village including live music, prizes, clowns and face painting. We will have an award for the Fastest Pastor/Elder. We have a bit of a rivalry already going on. Who will win? We shall see… It will be a lot of fun.
