graceTALK, October 2011

Sunday, October 16, 2011 by Larry Farlow, Kevin Hosner, Ken Rutherford and Hugh Williams Leave a Comment

The Leadership Team answers your questions.

Q1 (1:15). I have a friend who is a Jewish believer and he asked me if I, as a non-Jewish believer, pray to the Father or to the Son or to the Holy Spirit. I really didn’t know what to say. Is it ok to pray to Jesus or to the Spirit? It sounds funny to me. I just don’t know.

Q2 (9:54). I have a hard time thinking about how God is love and yet so many people are hurting. I have no idea how to answer people who would ask me about this apparent contradiction. How do I reconcile this to a person who is hurting and not sound trite or like a walking cliche?
