Q1 (1:36). In James 1:20 it says that, “man’s anger dos not bring about the righteous life that God desires.” I have heard this interpreted several ways: One, getting angry cannot be right in any situation since God is control. Two, when a person is angry they are not being self-controlled and, therefore, wrong. Three, anger cannot do be the source of strength in causing real change. Thanks for the help.
Q2 (10:01). The Bible says that God is love and that we are to love everyone. So, does God love Satan and are we to love Satan?
Q3 (21:17). This question builds off the June 21st blog post: “Same Sex Marriage Opponents Are Not Being Honest!” I have recently been rethinking about how Christians sometimes excuse issues of hair, dress, etc. as “cultural” commands. How do I know when Paul is addressing an issue unique to the culture and something that should be applied to us today? Is there a guideline to keep in mind? Also, why do we seek to obey the Law today if it says in the Bible that we are free from the law? Why follow some but not all OT laws? Does it have to be in the NT to be a “real” command?
