The “Roadblocks to Religion” series has enabled us to savor the incredible grace of God expressed in Jesus through His encounter with the “woman at the well” (John 4:1-42). We are hopeful that the grace of Jesus will spill over into your life and inspire you to reach people with the Gospel as well. So far in this series, we have considered various roadblocks (our spiritual condition and “religion”), and this week we will consider the roadblock of relationships. We all know people who struggle to consider the claims of Jesus Christ in light of changes they would have to make in the relationships they have.
Think about it: Every time we express the Gospel, we are also calling for a radical change in the relationships that a person has. Is there a way to address this roadblock? Some would question if this is even our responsibility. Others would say making this clear is part of the process of repentance. Today, we will consider this issue with a simple yet profound answer that actually lies at the very center of the Gospel itself. MP3 download.
