Meet Justin Taylor

Justin Taylor

Justin Taylor’s blog is often called the “Evangelical Drudge Report” of Christian blogs. He seems to have an endless supply of connections that supply him with important, informative, and intriguing resources on the web.

If you’d like to get to know this guy a little bit, Trevin Wax recently posted a great little Q&A with Justin (or simply “JT” if you want to sound cool) that you can find here.

How JT Got Started
contendforthefaith2.com

You may wonder how a young guy gets started doing this. The Desiring God blog “outed” his first website, which is still online. (As a web developer, I should point out that red Comic Sans text on a beveled blue box would be a career-limiting move for most people.)

“Contend for the Faith” was a project that Justin and his buddy Matt Perman started in 1998 when they were in college at the University of Northern Iowa. (Matt is right up there with JT on my list of favorite bloggers.)

If you’re not following JT’s blog, please check it out at The Gospel Coalition.

About Hugh Williams

Hugh Williams is one of the Connections teachers at Grace Fellowship. You may notice him playing bass with the music team on Sunday mornings, too, when he works hard on smiling while reading music and keeping rhythm at the same time. A native of the New York City area, Hugh and his wife, Krista, have lived in the Atlanta area since 1997.
