Tony Reinke distills 6 reasons from the Bible as to why the burning of the Koran (or “religious books”) to symbolize Christian opposition is not productive. I would add that the current threat in burning the Koran in protest of the “ground zero mosque” says more about the people doing the burning than it does about anything else.
